Amitabh Bachchan once shared a daring throwback memory

Back in April 2024, the ‘Sholay’ actor shared a nostalgic post on Instagram that left fans amazed. He posted a black-and-white picture of himself from the set of his 1979 film ‘Mr Natwarlal’. The image showed him performing an action sequence, and the caption revealed the incredible risk behind it.He wrote, “.. taking off from a 30-foot cliff for an action sequence .. no harness, no face replacement, no VFX .. and landing .. err .. on mattresses .. if you were lucky .. ‘Those were the days my friend’.” The post quickly caught everyone’s attention, with fans and celebrities showering love on the megastar for his fearless attitude.

The comment section was filled with admiration and nostalgia. Actress Shilpa Shirodkar commented, “You were and will always be the best forever Amitji.” Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata Dutt dropped a heart emoji in appreciation. Fans were also quick to express their admiration and love. One fan wrote, “So risky shoot sir, u done like superman,Sir We Love u.. when see u sir as this thing we feel so powerful us .. may god bless ur health must again and again..” Another added, “Hardwork and dedication is what actors used to be then and sir you were one of them.” A third fan wrote, “That’s why we r still stuck at that era .”

The veteran actor was last seen in the action-thriller film ‘Vettaiyan’ alongside Rajinikanth and Fahadh Faasil, directed by TJ Gnanavel. Apart from films, he continues to charm audiences on television as the host of the hit quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ season 17.
