Big B as Hamza, Vinod Khanna as Rahman Dakait: AI reimagines Dhurandhar

Amitabh Bachchan as Hamza, Sridevi as Yalina, Vinod Khanna as Rahman Dakait: AI reimagines 'Dhurandhar' cast

‘Dhurandhar’ has completed more than 40 days in theatres and is still continues to be the talk of the town. ‘Dhurandhar’ has been the talk of the town, due to its huge box office numbers and also the impact the film and its characters made. The Aditya Dhar directorial has broken several records and also brought back Akshaye Khanna into the limelight. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal among others. While ‘Dhurandhar’ continues to trend on social media, now AI imagination of ‘Dhurandhar’ if it was made in the 80s has sparked excitement on the internet. AI artist and short filmmaker Souvik recently explored this intriguing idea on Instagram, presenting an alternate version of ‘Dhurandhar’ set four decades earlier. In his AI-generated visuals, Amitabh Bachchan steps into the role of Hamza Ali Mazari. With long hair, a thick beard, and intense eyes, a cigarette casually in hand, Big B channels unmistakable ‘Deewar’-era energy, brooding, powerful, and commanding. Standing tall opposite him is Vinod Khanna, once considered Amitabh Bachchan’s greatest rival, reimagined as Rehman Dakait—a role originally played by his real-life son Akshaye Khanna. Dressed in sharp black Pathani suits and aviator sunglasses, Vinod Khanna brings effortless swagger to the character. Parveen Babi has been cast as Rehman’s wife, Ulfat. The nostalgia continues with Sridevi envisioned as Yalina, a role played by Sara Arjun in the original. Amrish Puri appears as SP Aslam, Jackie Shroff as Major Iqbal, Rishi Kapoor as Uzair, and Paresh Rawal as Ajay Sanyal, creating a dream cast that blends power, gravitas, and star charisma.Aditya Dhar commented on this post and said, “Superb!! “Released on December 5, ‘Dhurandhar’ has made Rs 1,300 crore mark worldwide and more than Rs 800 crore at the domestic box office.
