Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, is set to marry his fiancĂ©e Saaniya Chndhok today, March 5, in Mumbai. The star-studded wedding has drawn several of Sachin’s former teammates and close friends from his playing days, who were seen arriving to bless the couple.Among the early guests were former India captain MS Dhoni, accompanied by his wife Sakshi Dhoni. Veteran cricketers Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble, Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan were also spotted at the venue. Close friend Shreyas Iyer marked his presence, along with Prithvi Shaw and Suresh Raina, who attended with their wives.Dhoni and Sakshi twinned in elegant white ensembles for the occasion. While Dhoni opted for a classic bandhgala, Sakshi chose a simple yet graceful embroidered suit. Asha Bhosle made a rare appearance as she was spotted at the wedding. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were seen twinning in ivory. While Jaya Bachchan opted for a beautiful saree, Big B was seen in a white kurta pyjama with a shawl. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also arrived for the wedding. While Abhishek looked dapper in navy blue sherwani, Aishwarya looked gorgeous in a light blue Anarkali with silver work on it. Rahul Dravid was seen arriving with his wife. Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra were also spotted. The celebrations also saw Jay Shah, Chairman of the International Cricket Council.Arjun and Saaniya’s wedding picture also went viral on Instagram. They could be seen posing with Sachin Tendulkar and his wife Anjali, along with Suresh Raina and his family. The wedding festivities began earlier this week, with haldi and sangeet ceremonies hosted in Mumbai on March 3 and 4.In February, Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar personally met Eknath Shinde at his official residence, Nandanvan, in Mumbai to invite him to the ceremony. Sachin also extended wedding invitations to President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi for the celebrations.
