'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata' box office collection Day 1: Kangana Ranaut film opens at Rs 1 crore amid stiff competition

Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ has hit the theatres on Friday, June 12, 2026. The inspiring story is about the nurses of Cama Hospital in Mumbai who played a major role in keeping the patients safe during the 26/11 terror attacks. The movie received mixed reviews from the audience, and hence, it has collected a decent amount at the box office on its opening day.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ box office collection Day 1

Directed by Manoj Tapadia, the Kangana Ranaut starrer was screened across 2,181 shows in the country on its debut day at theatres. According to the Sacnilk report, the movie has earned Rs 1 crore on Day 1. With that, the India net collection stands at Rs 1 crore, while the India gross collection is Rs 1.19 crore.According to the same report, the film enjoyed an overall occupancy of 11% on its opening day.

Box office clash

Kangana Ranaut’s film arrived in cinemas during a crowded Friday. The film clashed with Imtiaz Ali-directed movie ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah, and Manoj Bajpayee’s film ‘Governor’. Apart from these two, the film is also sharing screens with Varun Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and the Hollywood release ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’.

‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’ review

The audience has hailed the performance of Kangana Ranaut in the movie. Even though she is the lead character, other actors have also got ample screen time to showcase their backstories and talent. The camaraderie between the nurses shines in the movie.
