'It's too much for Malayalis': Baiju Santhosh defends Jayaram's over-the-top humility and asks him to 'tone it down'

’It’s too much for Malayalis’: Baiju Santhosh defends Jayaram’s over-the-top humility and asks him to ‘tone it down’

Mollywood actor Jayaram is known for his humble behaviour, but he has recently faced criticism for being overly humble, with several netizens claiming that he is merely putting it on. The actor has also been trolled for this. Actor Baiju Santosh recently commented on fellow actor Jayaram’s personality during an interview with Movie World Media. Baiju suggested that the actor’s humility sometimes goes beyond normal limits and becomes noticeable in public interactions.

Baiju Santhosh’s remarks on exaggeration and storytelling

Baiju further spoke about how Jayaram often describes situations in an exaggerated yet humorous manner, especially when referring to crowd sizes. He explained that the actor tends to inflate numbers while narrating experiences. He said, “Jayaram is a bit too humble; I tell him he should tone it down.”He added, “Biju said Jayaram often exaggerates numbers in a humorous way when describing crowds. According to him, if there are around a thousand people at a place, Jayaram would casually say there are ten thousand. He added that this has been his nature for a long time.”Baiju also pointed out that this habit is part of Jayaram’s long-standing personality and should be seen in a light-hearted manner. He noted that such storytelling is characteristic of the actor and often becomes entertaining when heard directly. He said, “It is his style. Listening to it directly is quite entertaining.”

Social media reactions on Jayaram’s humble behaviour

The actor also addressed the online reactions surrounding Jayaram’s public image. According to him, the actor is currently being subjected to trolling for being excessively humble, which he described as an ironic situation. He said, “Jayaram is being trolled heavily right now for being too humble. But is it wrong to be humble? If you are not humble, people will call you arrogant and criticize you. Because he is too humble, he is being mocked.”

Plans to speak directly with Jayaram

Baiju Santosh further mentioned that he may personally advise Jayaram about moderating his humility, although in a friendly manner. He said, “I feel he should reduce his humility a little. I am planning to tell Jayaram this. Malayalis may not need this level of humility. One should not overdo it. In Tamil, it’s fine.”Meanwhile, Jayaram was recently seen in the Tamil film ‘Parimala and Co.’, where he reunited with actor Urvashi after a long gap. The movie received good reviews from the audiences.
