‘Baaghi 4’ is now 8th biggest grosser of Tiger’s career

‘Baaghi 4’ is now 8th biggest grosser of Tiger Shroff’s career

Tiger Shroff’s latest action film, Baaghi 4, has entered his top 10 grossers, surpassing A Flying Jatt with a five-day collection of Rs 39.75 crore. Despite this, the film’s performance is underwhelming compared to his previous hits, facing challenges due to competition, mixed reviews, and its ‘A’ certificate, impacting viewership from his younger fan base.

Tiger Shroff’s latest action flick has finally made an entry in the Top 10 grosser list of his career. With a 5 day collection of Rs 39.75 crore the film has now come his 8th biggest grosser replacing Remo D’Souza’s A Flying Jatt which had collected Rs 38.57 crore. But despite achieving this spot, the film is trailing some of Tiger’s heavy duty hits. Baaghi 4 facing competition from The Conjuring: Final Rites, had opened to Rs 12 crore collection but the numbers dropped on Saturday to Rs 9.25 crore , only to see a small spike to reach Rs 10 crore. But unfortunately the weekdays saw the numbers slowing down massively with Monday earning only Rs 4.5 crore and Tuesday earning only Rs 4 crore, thus taking the overall collection to Rs 39.75 crore and is expected to reach Rs 45 crore mark by the end of first week.

CBFC trims ‘Baaghi 4’, issues ‘A’ certificate for Tiger Shroff starrer

The journey ahead for the film looks steep as 7th spot is taken by his debut film Heropanti which had collected Rs 52.7 crore and 6th spot is with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan collecting Rs 65.32 crore and 5th is with Student of the Year 2 which earned Rs 79.86 crore. The next three spots are taken up by the three Baaghi installments Baaghi with Rs 76.1 crore followed by Baaghi 3 with Rs 96.5 crore collection and topped by Baaghi 2 with a lifetime collection of Rs 165.5 crore. And the top spot is being held by War which had minted Rs 303.34 crore.Trade believes that the underwhelming trajectory of Baaghi 4 is because of multiple factors like the deja vu with action template and mixed word of mouth from urban audiences Also the ‘A’ certificate from censor board has been an issue as the most loyal base of Tiger are kids and they were alienated from the film.
