Tiger Shroff’s much-awaited action spectacle ‘Baaghi 4’ is gearing up for a smashing start at the box office. According to early estimates on Sacnilk, the film has recorded impressive advance booking numbers ahead of its September 5 release.
Baaghi 4 advance ticket sales
The film has so far grossed an estimated Rs 2.67 crore from the sale of 1.10 lakh tickets across 6,825 shows. With blocked seats factored in, the Day 1 advance booking is expected to climb to around Rs 5.07 crore.
50% discount on Day 1 tickets
To maximise footfalls, the makers introduced a unique tie-up with a ticket booking app, offering audiences a 50% discount (up to Rs 150) on two tickets purchased for the opening day. The strategy is reportedly designed to ensure packed theatres and amplify the buzz around Tiger’s signature action-driven spectacle.
Box office clash
In terms of competition, ‘Baaghi 4’ appears to have a decisive edge over ‘The Bengal Files’ which also hits screens tomorrow. While the latter is expected to attract urban audiences with its political theme, Tiger’s film has already clocked nearly six times more ticket sales and 60 times higher advance collections, positioning it as the frontrunner in the clash.
About the film
Directed by A. Harsha, ‘Baaghi 4’ introduces former Miss Universe Harnaaz Sandhu as the leading lady, with Sonam Bajwa in a pivotal role and Sanjay Dutt playing a menacing antagonist. The film has received an ‘A’ certificate from the CBFC. The ‘Baaghi’ series, which began in 2016, has delivered some of Shroff’s biggest commercial hits, followed by ‘Baaghi 2’ (2018) and ‘Baaghi 3’ (2020). With the fourth instalment, Tiger is eyeing a major comeback at the box office after a string of underwhelming releases. The trailer, launched recently in Mumbai, showcased Tiger in full-fledged action mode as he embarks on a brutal journey to find his love, Alisha (Harnaaz Sandhu). Laden with high-octane stunts, bone-crunching action, and psychological drama, the film promises a darker, bloodier instalment in the franchise. Go to Source
