Ayesha Khan schools paps as they ask her to turn around for pics

Ayesha Khan schools paparazzi as they ask her to turn around for pictures: 'Aap izzat bhi khud kamayenge, aur khud hi gawayenge'

Ayesha Khan, who has been basking in the success of the song Shararat from Dhurandhar, attended the premiere of Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor’s film Tu Yaa Main. However, what grabbed attention was her firm yet composed response to a photographer while posing on the red carpet. At the premiere of the Bejoy Nambiar directorial, Ayesha was posing at the step-and-repeat when paparazzi asked her to turn around for pictures. As one of the photographers said something, she stopped, looked at him and responded sharply, “Aap izzat bhi khud kamayenge, aur khud hi gawayenge. Please mat kariye, acha nahi lagta (You will earn and lose respect by yourself. Please don’t do this, it doesn’t feel good). Please don’t do this.”She appeared visibly upset, while other paparazzi were heard asking the concerned photographer to stop. After a brief pause, Ayesha continued posing for a few seconds before heading inside the venue.

Ayesha on consent and viral paparazzi clips

The actress has previously spoken about the culture of viral paparazzi videos and the importance of consent. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, reacting to comments that often blame celebrities for their clothing choices, Ayesha said, “People don’t understand consent. You can’t do these things without asking.”Drawing a sharp comparison, she added, “I also bathe, but you can’t bathe me. It’s my choice… Who gave you the choice?” reiterating that consent cannot be assumed.Ayesha didn’t shy away from addressing the practice of capturing and circulating uncomfortable moments. “They know it’s wrong… you’re capturing someone’s oops moment and even posting that publicly,” she said, questioning the ethics behind such content.

“There are good paps too”

At the same time, she acknowledged that not all photographers operate the same way. “There are good people. There are good paps,” she said, adding that many respect boundaries when she clearly communicates her discomfort. “If I say, please don’t post it, they won’t post it,” she noted.Concluding on a balanced note, Ayesha said she chooses to focus on the positives. “Like everything else, there’s always a good side and a bad side… we take care of the good ones,” she shared. On the work front, Ayesha was most recently seen in the Dhurandhar song Shararat. She will also be seen in Kapil Sharma’s Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, the sequel to his 2015 film. Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary and Parul Gulati also feature in the film. Go to Source
