In a cryptic Instagram post, they wrote, “What you’ve been watching for the last four weeks… are not teasers. Or trailers. They are stories. They are clues… Pay attention #DoomsdayHasBegun.”

Fans react

Following the big revelation, fans took another look at the four promotional videos that have turned the spotlight on the four major characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Captain America, Thor, X-Men and Black Panther. Fans have already begun sharing their thoughts and theories about what these clips could mean. While almost all have turned to the time cues in at the end of the trailer as possible connections to the film’s plot and story, others believe it is time-stamps to older Marvel films, possibly connecting it to the role of the sacred timeline.
