TRIGGER WARNING: This article contains mention of death.In a tragic and horrifyingly shocking turn of events, an Austrian influencer has been found dead, stuffed in a suitcase and buried in the woods. Reports reveal that the influencer, Stefanie Pieper, 31, vanished after the holidays. According to the Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung, the police were searching rigorously for the influencer, and on Saturday, her mortal remains were discovered. In this matter, the authorities arrested Stafanie Pieper’s ex on Friday, who finally broke his silence after hours of intense investigation. Following his confession, Stafanie Pieper was reportedly found dead in a forest in Slovenia in a suitcase.

Confession by Stafanie Pieper’s ex

Pieper’s ex reportedly first fled to his native Slovenia. However, he was extradited to Austria upon his arrest. Initially, he remained tight-lipped about the whole matter, but hours of investigation finally cracked him. Reports suggest he admitted to strangling Stephanie. The 31-year-old allegedly ambushed Pieper after a Christmas party last Saturday. Later, the two got into a heated argument and as things escalated, he killed Pieper. In addition to his confession, the witness accounts say that Stafanie’s ex was seen at the apartment carrying a suspicious roll of fabric.It turns out he later used a red car to carry Pieper’s body across the border into neighbouring Slovenia. Later, the car was found burned in a parking lot near the border. “On Monday evening, November 24, 2025, the Slovenian police reported that a car had caught fire in the parking lot of a casino near the border,” police authorities mentioned in a release, according to People. “This was the 31-year-old man’s car. He was found in the immediate vicinity of the burning vehicle and arrested by the Slovenian police. Extradition to Austria has been requested,” the report added. Meanwhile, his brother and stepfather were also remanded in custody at the Graz-Jakomini correctional facility. Reportedly, they could have been at risk of obstruction of justice.

Stefanie Pieper’s last message

According to local outlets Oe24 and 20 Minuten, on the night of her disappearance, Stefanie Pieper texted her friends that someone was hanging around her apartment. She wrote, “There’s a creep in the stairwell.” She mentioned a “dark figure”.According to Styrian State Police, Stafanie Pieper went missing on November 23 after returning from a Christmas party.
