'Athiradi' box office collection day 5: Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph film inches close to the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide

Tovino Thomas and Basil Joseph’s action comedy ‘Athiradi’ is enjoying a good run at the box office. Within 5 days of its theatrical release, the movie has come close to the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide. After a decent opening at the box office, the movie went on to benefit from the weekend surge. ‘Athiradi’ box office collection day 5

According to Sacnilk, the movie collected Rs 2.25 crore net in India across 1,555 shows on day 5, Monday. The trade report shows it as a 59.8% drop from Sunday’s net collection of Rs 5.60 crore. With these statistics, the gross collections of ‘Athiradi’ in India stand at Rs 26.99 crore and net collections at Rs 23.27 crore.Coming to the overseas business, the movie made Rs 1.50 crore on day 5. This pushed the total overseas gross to Rs 22.50 crore and the worldwide gross collection to Rs 49.49 crore.
