Arshad Warsi recently celebrated his birthday on April 19, with a cake-cutting celebration in the presence of the media, but it was his candid interaction with paparazzi that stood out. During the chat, the actor spoke warmly about the affection he continues to receive from the film industry and shared a touching detail involving Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.The Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. star revealed that the Bachchans are among the first people to wish him every year. According to him, their call comes in just moments after midnight, a tradition he cherishes deeply. “There are some people who wish me early, one of them is Amit Ji and Jaya Ji. As soon as the clock strikes 12.01, I get their call. The immense love I have been getting from the industry is increasing with time. My friends in the industry are also increasing,” he said, adding that such gestures make his birthday all the more meaningful.Arshad also reflected on his professional association with both actors. He shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Zamaanat: And Justice for All, which also starred Karisma Kapoor and Anupam Kher. Earlier in his career, he worked on the 1996 film Tere Mere Sapne which was produced by Bachchan’s ABCL and Warsi had once also shared about Jaya Bachchan approaching him for it. On work front now, Arshad has an exciting lineup of films. He will next appear in the fourth instalment of the Dhamaal franchise alongside Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi, among others. In addition, he is part of the ensemble comedy Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav.
