Malaika Arora turned 52 today, and though her relationship with Arjun Kapoor may have come to an end, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor took to social media today to drop birthday wishes for her. The two, who were in a long-term relationship after Malaika’s divorce from Arbaaz Khan, have remained on cordial terms even after parting ways. Their warm hug at the recent ‘Homebound’ screening was proof that mutual respect still defines their bond. Arjun was also by her side when her father passed away a while ago.

On her birthday, Arjun shared a beautiful sun-kissed picture of Malaika on his Instagram story, accompanied by a simple yet touching note that read, “Keep soaring keep smiling and always keep seeking.” It was a message that felt sincere and full of admiration, even as both have chosen to move forward in their individual journeys.

A Year After Break-Up, Arjun Kapoor & Malaika Arora Share Warm Hug At ‘Homebound’ Screening

In a recent interview, Malaika addressed questions about her personal life, saying, “I will never choose a public platform to talk about my personal life. So, whatever Arjun has said is entirely his prerogative.” She added, “It’s good that you’re doing things together but that doesn’t mean you kind of give up your entire identity and take on someone else’s. As it is you’re taking on somebody else’s last name, right? So I think the least you can do is hang on to your own bank account.”Reflecting on the criticism and trolling she has faced, Malaika admitted that it took time and resilience to rise above the negativity. “I have also figured out a way to deal with it, get strong about it and not let it pull me down, govern me or get the better out of me. I have figured out a way to insulate me to all of it,” she shared.Acknowledging the realities of fame, the Dabangg star added, “Yes, it’s part and parcel of our lives, there is constantly something, criticism, trolling but you just need to block out the noise, the negativity and move on with whatever is positive in your life.”
