Anjali REACTS after Pawan Singh apologises for touching her

Anjali Raghav REACTS after Pawan Singh apologises for touching her inappropriately at an event: 'Woh senior artist hai..'

Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh has found himself in controversy after a video of him touching actress Anjali Raghav’s waist during a stage event went viral. The incident took place in Lucknow at the promotional launch of their new song ‘Saiya Seva Kare’. The clip, which quickly spread online, showed Anjali looking visibly uncomfortable as Pawan repeatedly touched her waist under the pretext of removing something stuck, while continuing to ignore her unease.

Anjali breaks her silence

On Saturday, Anjali Raghav took to Instagram, posting two videos where she detailed her experience and the emotional toll it took. Speaking in Hindi, she said, “I have been very disturbed for the past two days. I am continuously getting DMs asking why I didn’t say anything, why I didn’t take any action, why I didn’t slap, regarding the Lucknow incident. And some people are even blaming me; on some memes they are writing, ‘She was laughing, she was enjoying it.’ Do you think I would feel happy or enjoy being touched in public like that?” Anjali also announced that she will no longer work in the Bhojpuri industry. She went on to stress her stand against such behaviour, “I absolutely do not support touching any girl without her permission. To begin with, it is very wrong. And to touch someone in this manner is extremely wrong. Agar yeh Haryana main hua hota toh jawab dene ki zarurat nahi padti; the public there would have given the answer themselves. But I was in their place, in Lucknow. Main Bhojpuri industry mein ab kaam nahi karungi.”

Pawan Singh issues an apology

Following the backlash, Pawan Singh addressed the matter through an Instagram Story in Hindi. His note in Hindi read, “Anjali ji, vyasth schedule ke kaaran main aapka live dekh nahi paaya. Mujhe jab iss baat ki jaankari huyi, toh mujhe bura laga.” He added further, “Mera aapke prati koi bhi ghalat intention nahi tha kyuki humlog kalakaar hai. Iske bawajood, agar aapko humari kisi bhi byawahaar se taqleef huyi ho toh uske liye main shama prarthi hoon.”

Anjali reacts to Pawan Singh’s apology

Reacting to his apology, Anjali posted on her Instagram Story, “Pawan Singh ji ne apni galti ki manfi mangli hai. wo mujhse bade hai aur senior artist hai … maine unhe manf kar dia hai … mai is bat ko aur aage nahi badhana chahti jai shree ram.”

Pawan Singh’s wife Jyoti’s note

Amidst this controversy, Pawan Singh’s second wife Jyoti Singh also shared a cryptic post on Instagram, accusing the actor-singer of ignoring her for several months, further fueling the conversation around him. Go to Source
