Angelina Jolie’s daughter Zahara just graduated! The event was attended by her mother and all of her siblings. While they were all celebrating, a new revelation came to light as well. As per the latest reports, Zahara has chosen to drop her father Brad Pitt’s last name from hers altogether. She joins her siblings, Shiloh, Maddox, and Vivienne, who also completely stopped using their father’s surname in any of their public activities.

Jolie and Pitt’s oldest daughter, Zahara, recently graduated from Spelman College and earned her official degree in Bachelor of Arts in Psychology on May 17. While the 21-year-old’s name was listed as ‘Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt’ in the commencement program, which is available on the college’s website, she dropped the ‘Pitt’ from her name. When she walked the stage at her college in Atlanta, her name was read as Zahara Marley Jolie. It was also earlier reported that in 2023, when she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority at her college, she still introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie. Before this, Shiloh, Maddox, and Vivienne had also dropped their father’s surname from their full names.Zahara also recently attended a Mother’s Day event where she was invited to give a speech. While attending the ‘Pearls of Purpose Foundation’s Dearest Mother & Daughter: A Most Delightful Brunch Experience’ event and giving her speech, she praised her mother and cited that “These values may sound simple, but in a world where kindness is overlooked and helping others comes at a cost, I am grateful to have had a role model to show me what it looks like to be a decent human being. ”

Brad Pitt also made headlines yesterday after it was confirmed by TMZ that he was not in attending of his daughter, Zahara’s graduation ceremony at Spelman College.
