Ahaan and Aneet were spotted landing in Delhi earlier in the day, turning heads with their cool and comfy looks. Later this evening, Ahaan switched into something more formal, as he opted for a sleek suit embellished with gold detailing, while Aneet stunned in a dramatic purple gown. The duo walked into the venue together, surrounded by their respective teams and security, immediately sparking buzz among fans and attendees. The rising Bollywood stars, who made their debut in the 2025 blockbuster romance ‘Saiyaara’, were honoured as GenZ Icons at the CNN-News18 awards for their breakout performances in the film.

Aneet’s moving speech

During her acceptance speech, Aneet took a moment to thank her co-star and close friend Ahaan in a way that reignited dating rumours and left ‘Saiyaara’ fans swooning. She said, “And thank you to my co-actor and my best friend, Ahaan Panday. You guys don’t realise the number of times it has been difficult on set and he has always had my back. And it’s the best feeling in the world to be on this stage with one of the best men in the world. ”

The heartfelt tribute drew cheers from the audience. At the event, the pair went on to recreate a romantic scene from ‘Saiyaara’ on stage, ending it with a warm hug and a playful peck on the cheek, sending fans into a frenzy. Clips from the event immediately went viral, with fans speculating whether the on-screen romance has quietly blossomed off-screen.Ahaan and Aneet have consistently denied dating rumours. Meanwhile, the two are currently busy working on their next big ventures. While Ahaan has an untitled next in the pipeline, Aneet will be seen in the horror-comedy ‘Shakti Shalini’.
