Farah Khan plans to revive her hit film Tees Maar Khan, starring Katrina Kaif and Ananya Panday. During the chat show Two Much, Ananya asked if she could be part of the sequel. Farah humorously replied, “Yes, you can be Katrina’s younger sister,” sparking excitement among fans.

Bollywood director Farah Khan has suggested plans to revive her blockbuster film ‘Tees Maar Khan’, starring Katrina Kaif and Ananya Panday in lead roles. This exciting news came up during the latest episode of the chat show ‘Two Much’, hosted by Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, where both Farah and Ananya joined as special guests.

The filmmaker shared that directing allows her to express her creativity and maintain control, and she holds fond memories of working on ‘Tees Maar Khan’. Opening up about working on the film, she said, “Tees Maar Khan made Rs 65 crores, 15 years ago. It’s a Gen Z cult film. In fact, when fans are asked which movie should have a part two, they always say ‘Tees Maar Khan’.”

During the discussion, Twinkle touched upon the topic of a sequel to the film starring Akshay Kumar. Showing her excitement, Ananya Panday jokingly asked, “Can I be in it?” Farah, with her usual sense of humor, replied, “Yes, you can be in it. You can be Katrina’s younger sister.”

Tees Maar Khan’s box office performance

Released in 2010, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ was a heist-comedy featuring Akshay Kumar as a charming trickster and Katrina Kaif as the lead heroine. Under Farah’s direction, the film mixed distinctive humour, exaggerated action sequences, and surprising plot twists, which led to strong box office returns. Earning around several crores domestically, it eventually became a cult favourite, especially among young audiences who loved its energetic and playful storytelling.
