Although there have been casting rumours, the makers have maintained complete silence on the movie details. However, in an interview, producer Amy Pascal opened up, stating that casting is still underway and they are very meticulous about every detail. So far, Callum Turner, Jacob Elordi and Harris Dickinson have all been named as alleged top contenders for the role.

Amy Pascal, who also recently backed ‘The Odyssey,’ opened up about the search for the next James Bond. She added that the next James Bond will possibly be announced by the end of the year. “We are being really, really methodical. Having worked with Barbara Broccoli at the studio, I mean, Daniel Craig is a hard act to follow. And it’s got to be something really different that is stirring and exciting and different,” Amy told Deadline.She also revealed that the production studio behind the upcoming film is taking the overall process seriously, which explains the extended timeline. So far, it has been confirmed that Denis Villeneuve, best known for projects like ‘Dune,’ ‘Arrival,’ ‘Blade Runner 2049,’ and ‘Sicario,’ will direct the next Bond film. Steven Knight, who has worked on ‘Peaky Blinders,’ ‘Locke,’ ‘A Thousand Blows,’ and ‘House of Guinness,’ is writing the script.
