Ameesha says she could have a one-night stand with Tom Cruise

Ameesha Patel says she could have a one-night stand with Tom Cruise: 'He’s the only man for whom I could put aside my principles'

Ameesha Patel, who rose to fame with films like Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, has always kept her personal life away from the spotlight. At 50, the actress remains unmarried, but in a recent candid moment, she opened up about love, crushes, and even one-night stands.

‘Tom Cruise has always been my crush’

On Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Ameesha was asked about her celebrity crush and didn’t hesitate to name Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise. “I have a crush on Tom Cruise. If you can do a podcast with him, then please invite me to that podcast. I’ve liked Tom Cruise since childhood. I had his picture on my pencil box, in my files, and the only poster in my room was of Tom Cruise. He has always been my crush. I always joke that he’s the only man for whom I could put aside my principles. I could do anything for him. If you ask me whether I could have a one-night stand with him, yes, I could,” she admitted.

Not the first time she spoke about Tom Cruise

This isn’t the first time Ameesha has expressed her admiration for Tom Cruise. At a red carpet event a few years ago, when asked which actor she would like to switch places with, Ameesha quipped that she’d choose any actress who has starred opposite the Top Gun star. She even went as far as to say she would have married him if given the chance.

Chose career over first love

The actress also opened up about her first serious relationship before entering films. “That was my first relationship. But that person didn’t want me to be in the public eye. And I chose career over love,” she revealed.

An overnight star with ‘Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai’

Ameesha made her Bollywood debut with Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, becoming an overnight star. She later featured in Badri and then struck gold with Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which changed the course of her career. Over the years, she has been seen in films like Humraaz, Yeh Hai Jalwa, Gadar 2, Vaada, Elaan, Mere Jeevan Saathi, Aap Ki Khatir, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Go to Source
