Ameesha Patel CONFIRMS Gadar 3, promises bigger scale

'Rs 500 crore is minimum': Ameesha Patel CONFIRMS ‘Gadar 3’, promises bigger scale and an amazing script

Ameesha Patel has confirmed that ‘Gadar 3’ is in the works, promising it will be bigger and more spectacular than its predecessors. She declared Rs 500 crore as the minimum box office benchmark for the franchise. The actress also took a dig at Bollywood’s PR culture, highlighting her three massive solo blockbusters.

Ameesha Patel has officially put all speculation to rest, confirming that ‘Gadar 3’ is indeed in the works. Taking to X, she shared a heartfelt note announcing the third instalment of the beloved franchise, promising that it will surpass both its forerunners in scale and impact. She also set the bar high, stating that anything less than Rs 500 crore at the box office is simply not the ‘Gadar’ standard.

Ameesha Patel’s exciting announcement

The actress left fans buzzing with excitement as she wrote, “GADAR 3 will come fr sure and JAB aayegi. Theatre mein hungama mach Jayega. With audiences love and gods blessings .. 500 cr is just the minimum nos at the box office for a brand like GADAR , and this time the scale and script will be even bigger and dhamakedar. Be prepared.”

Ameesha Patel calls out Bollywood’s PR games

She also did not hold back when it came to calling out the PR games that dominate Bollywood’s narrative. She wrote, “Kaho na pyaar hai, Gadar 1 or Gadar2… Ek nahin par 3 biggest solo blockbusters as a heroine with highest footfalls in all 3 films I’ve given and till date they are the biggest hits of my CO STARS as well.. but my FAKE PR machinery is weak unlike other actresses. A star becomes a global superstar only when he or she delivers a huge hit all over the world. It’s always a good feeling for any actor to be a part of any project anywhere in the world. But you only become a superstar once u have delivered those big hits. Stop PR machinery”.

Ameesha Patel on ‘Gadar 3’

This is not the first time Ameesha has spoken about a potential third instalment. A few years ago, responding to a fan’s question about ‘Gadar 3’ on X, she made it clear, “I love Sakina (her Gadar character), and I value the love of you all have towards Sakina. But yes, if offered Gadar 3, I will surely only do it if I’m superrrr happy with the script, as I was in Gadar 1.”

Ameesha Patel’s blockbuster return with ‘Gadar 2’

Released in 2023, ‘Gadar 2’ proved to be a box office phenomenon, marking Ameesha’s long-awaited return to the big screen. Audiences embraced her comeback wholeheartedly, and her on-screen chemistry with Sunny Deol was one of the most talked-about highlights of the film. Go to Source
