Allu Arjun heaps praise on Ram Charan for sports drama ‘Peddi’; says, ‘aced it in every aspect’

Ram Charan has been receiving applause for his impactful performance in the latest sports drama ‘Peddi’ directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Recently, Allu Arjun shared his praise and called Ram Charan “mind-blowing” in the film after he watched the film last night.

Allu Arjun took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to commend the team ‘Peddi’. Saying that Ram Charan “truly deserves” all the applause, he wrote, “Watched #Peddi last night. Mind-blowing performance by my dear @AlwaysRamCharan. A Gritty, raw performance, extraordinary body transformation, and graceful dance moves. He absolutely aced it in every aspect. Genuinely very proud of my brother. Truly deserves every bit of the applause.”Additionally, he also sang praises for the other key members and gave a special shout out to Jagapathi Babu and Janhvi Kapoor. “Striking performance by @IamJagguBhai garu and all the other artists. Love to the leading lady, #JanhviKapoor. Compliments to all the technicians and producers,” he added.

Lastly he complimented Buchi Babu Sana writing, “My warm regards to the captain of the ship, @BuchiBabuSana garu, for elevating everyone and putting Charan garu on a high pedestal. Congratulations to the entire team of #Peddi!”

‘Peddi’ box office numbers

‘Peddi’ has turned out to be one of the biggest hits as it racked over Rs 248.92 crore globally in five days since its release. As per its live numbers, the film minted Rs 58 lakh today during morning shows across 1,909 shows according to Sacnilk.

‘Peddi’ controversy

Apart from its box office glory the film has been in the news as it received criticism over Janhvi Kapoor’s role as Achiyamma. A large section of the audience criticized the film for objectifying her and mishandling the character. After the backlash, the director issued an apology and confirmed that the necessary changes will be made in the film.

Allu Arjun’s next film

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is working with Atlee on the large scale sci-fi film, ‘Raaka’. The film also includes Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Go to Source
