After Ahan Shetty’s big-screen return with the war drama Border 2, Suniel Shetty has addressed long-standing rumours around his son’s absence from films following Tadap (2021). Reacting strongly to rumours that Ahan was dropped from Sanki due to excessive entourage expenses, Suniel dismissed the claims outright. “Ahan has never gone overboard with his entourage. These are all rumours. This gossip was circulated as per the producer’s convenience,” he said. Taking a firm stand as a father, Suniel added, “If the producer says that he can show a bill, then I will see. There the father steps in and will step in, very very clearly. Don’t spread lies to hide your weaknesses, because it’s not fair on Ahan.”

Manoj Bajpayee breaks silence on Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Ghooskhor Pandat’ title controversy: ‘Not about any community’

After filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, actor Manoj Bajpayee has also responded to the controversy around the title of their upcoming Netflix drama ‘Ghooskhor Pandat’. In a statement, Bajpayee said he respects the feelings of those who were hurt by the title. He explained that his role only aims to show the journey of a flawed person and is not meant to comment on any particular community. Taking to Instagram story, he wrote, “I respect the emotions and concerns people have shared, and I take them seriously. When something you are part of causes hurt to some people, it makes you pause and listen. As an actor, I come to a film through the character and the story I am playing. For me, this was about portraying a flawed individual and his journey of self-realisation. This was not meant to be a statement about any community.”

Some people from the industry know the truth, some don’t and the general public… But one day, everyone will get to learn the truth. In a story, or a book, or an interview, or a film”, Prateik, meanwhile, shared that the entire journey only brought them closer and said, “I think life has thrown a lot of tests right before we got married, just to see if we would last and we are like ninjas.
