‘Saiyaara’ stars Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda were spotted leaving Mumbai airport on Friday morning, talking and giggling among themselves. The brief appearance came a day after they were photographed together at a city restaurant, instantly reigniting speculation about their relationship.

Since the release of ‘Saiyaara’ in July 2025, Ahaan and Aneet have been talked about as much off-screen as on. Karan Johar called them the ‘it couple’

Filmmaker Karan Johar, during his appearance on Sania Mirza’s podcast ‘Serving It Up With Sania’, indirectly referred to Ahaan and Aneet as a potential new ‘It couple’ of the industry. When asked about their relationship status, he said, “Well… they are not yet official, so if they are going to be, I don’t know whether or not because I haven’t checked.” Johar’s comment, although light-hearted, added fuel to the ongoing speculation and got fans excited about the possibility of a romance behind the scenes.

Despite the rumours, Ahaan Panday recently clarified his position in an interview with GQ India. He said, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic — it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet. Before ‘Saiyaara’, we both loved this Paulo Coelho quote: ‘It’s the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.’ We dreamed this together, and it came true. What we’ve shared is so special.”
