Director Laxman Utekar, fresh off ‘Chhaava’, has reportedly approached Hrithik Roshan for his next film, to be made after Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Eetha’ (August 28). Hrithik, busy with ‘Krrish 4’, hasn’t responded yet. He’ll first appear in a cameo in Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’, releasing October 15.
Riding high on the success of ‘Chhaava’, director Laxman Utekar is now preparing for the release of Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Eetha’, scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 28. The teaser for the biographical drama has already piqued audience curiosity, and reports suggest Utekar has reached out to Hrithik Roshan to helm his next project.

According to Variety India, the director has approached Hrithik with a proposal for a film he plans to direct once ‘Eetha’ hits screens. Roshan, though, is currently tied up with pre-production work on his directorial debut, ‘Krrish 4’, and has not yet responded to the offer.

‘Eetha’ tells the life story of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, the famous Marathi Lavani and Tamasha performer. The film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Randeep Hooda in important roles, with music by Ajay-Atul, and is set to release on August 28.
Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming projects: ‘Krrish 4’ and ‘Jailer 2’
On another note, ‘Krrish 4’, starring Hrithik Roshan, is jointly backed by Aditya Chopra and Rakesh Roshan. Prior to that, however, the actor will make an appearance in a cameo role in Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’, with his portions already shot on June 22 and 23 in Chennai. This marks his on-screen reunion with Thalaivar, 40 years after ‘Bhagwaan Dada’. Cameos from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Sethupathi and Mithun Chakraborty also feature in the film.
