Abhimanyu looks back on his time with Ranveer in Ram-Leela

‘He is fun loving person’: Abhimanyu Singh looks back on his time with Ranveer Singh in ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’

Abhimanyu Singh, known for films like ‘Aks’ and ‘Inspector Avinash 2’, fondly recalled working with Ranveer Singh in ‘Ram-Leela’, calling him “fun-loving and happy-go-lucky.” He also celebrated Dhurandhar’s success, flagged Bollywood’s content-reach gap, and denied any knowledge of being part of Mom 2 with Khushi Kapoor.

Ever since he burst onto the scene with ‘Aks’ in 2001, Abhimanyu Singh has carved out a solid name for himself across both Hindi and regional cinema. His latest outing, ‘Inspector Avinash 2’, saw him slip effortlessly into a dark and gritty character that has been winning him praise. In a candid chat, the actor opens up about his journey and working with Ranveer Singh.

Abhimanyu Singh also expressed his joy over Ranveer’s recent achievements, making special mention of the success of ‘Dhurandhar’. “And Dhurandhar did such a miracle. I was very happy. It was very important,” he remarked. He went on to address the broader challenges facing the Hindi film industry, he observed, “There is content and talent, but it should reach the right audience. I think that gap is a big reason why Bollywood is not doing well.”

Abhimanyu Singh breaks silence on ‘Mom 2’ rumours with Khushi Kapoor

When asked about the possibility of starring in Mom 2 alongside Khushi Kapoor, Abhimanyu kept it straight and simple. “I have no idea because I did Mom with Sridevi Ma’am, and it was my extreme good luck that I somehow ended up working with her. I have no idea about Mom 2”, he said.
