‘Unrealistic demands’: Afghanistan slams Pakistan for ‘irresponsible’ stance as Istanbul peace talks collapse

Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of derailing the latest round of peace talks in Istanbul, saying Islamabad took an “irresponsible and non-cooperative” approach and tried to shift “all security responsibility” onto Kabul. The Taliban-led government said Pakistan’s stance caused the two-day negotiations to collapse despite mediation efforts by Turkey and Qatar.
