Syria, coalition forces launch operation against IS ‘sleeper cells’ after attack on US troops

Syrian forces and a US-led coalition launched an operation against Islamic State group sleeper cells on Sunday, a Syrian interior ministry official said, a day after a deadly attack on US troops in the country.
