European leaders voice concerns over US peace plan, say it needs ‘more work’

European and other Western leaders on Saturday said the US peace plan for ending the Ukraine war could be used as a starting point for talks, but stressed that it needs more work, reflecting growing concern over Washington’s push for Kyiv to accept the proposal by Thursday.
