‘China and India primary funders, Europe funding Russian war against itself’: Trump at UNGA

In his UN General Assembly speech, US President Donald Trump has dubbed China and India as the ‘primary funders’ of the Russian war on Ukraine. He also called upon European countries to cease buying Russian oil and gas.

In his UN General Assembly speech, US President Donald Trump blamed China and India as “primary funders” of the Russian war on Ukraine.

As Trump sought excuses for his failure to bring the Russian war on Ukraine to an end, which he said he thought would be the easiest war to end, he said that continued purchase of Russian oil and gas was driving the Russian war on Ukraine.

Trump also said that European nations need to stop buying Russian oil and gas as well. If they would not do that, he said he would impose severe tariffs.
