Marjorie Taylor Greene, Ro Khanna, Schumer call for 25th amendment to remove Trump: 'Not a single bomb has...'

Democrats and several conservative commentators demanded the invocation of the 25th Amendment to remove Trump.

Democrats called for the invocation of 25th Amendment to remove President Donald Trump after his latest threat that a “whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again”. “Not a single bomb has dropped on America. We cannot kill an entire civilization. This is evil and madness,” former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene posted. “We need to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump. Threatening war crimes is a blatant violation of our Constitution and the Geneva Conventions,” Dem Congressman Ro Khanna said, adding that what the president is doing is a moral crime and if the Congress has any life left, every member should be calling forTrump’s removal as Trump is showing disrespect to the entire population of Iran, Gaza, Cuba. “The 25th amendment needs to be invoked. He is a genocidal lunatic. Our Congress and military need to intervene. We are beyond madness,” Candace Owens posted. Conservative commentator Alex Jones too called for the 25th Amendment. “This is an extremely sick person. Each Republican who refuses to join us in voting against this wanton war of choice owns every consequence of whatever the hell this is,” Dem Senator Chuck Schumer posted. “Sickeningly evil. Donald Trump must be impeached. When will it be enough for my Republican colleagues to grow spines and remove him from office?” Ilhan Omar wrote. “A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have complete and total regime change where different, smarter and less radicalized ninds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen…” Trump posted.

What is the 25th Amendment?

The 25th Amendment to the United States Constitution deals with what happens if the president or vice president is unable to serve. It was ratified in 1967 after concerns were raised by events like President Kennedy’s assassination. If the president dies, resigns, or is removed, the vice president becomes president.
