15 injured in shooting at Jerusalem, suspected attackers killed

At least 15 persons have been injured in a shooting at the Ramot settlement in Israel-occupied East Jerusalem. The police have said that two suspected attackers have been killed.

At least 15 persons have been injured in a shooting at the Ramot settlement in Israel-occupied East Jerusalem, according to Israeli authorities.

The information was received at 10:13 am on Monday that a shooting at the Ramot Junction on Yigal Yadin Street has caused approximately 15 casualties, the Magen David Adom emergency service of Israel said in a statement.

Separately, Ynet news outlet reported Israeli authorities as saying that two attackers had been killed.

The authorities further said that six of those injured were in critical condition.

“There are several injured at the scene and the attackers have been neutralized. Numerous police units under the district commander are en route,” the outlet quoted the police as saying.
