We will have to wait to see what Manchester United do after the loss to Grimsby Town, but a report says INEOS have drawn up a list of possible replacements for manager Ruben Amorim.
Ruben Amorim’s job could be in danger at Manchester United after the recent setback, as the Red Devils were knocked out of the League Cup on Wednesday after a defeat to League Two club Grimsby Town. United found themselves 2-0 down in the match at one stage before rallying to secure parity.
However, their failure to find the winner saw the match progress to penalties, where a Bryan Mbeumo miss condemned them to a 12-11 loss in the shootout. While United have been in poor form for a while, the defeat to Grimsby is nothing less than a calamity, as famous football podcasters from England have started to demand the sacking of manager Amorim.
So far, Sir Jim Ratcliffe of Ineos, who is also a co-owner at Man United, has shown a lot of faith in Amorim, despite the Portuguese manager only earning 27 points in 28 English Premier League games. But popular transfer market news handle Indykaila in Caught Offside has claimed that the INEOS Group, who control the footballing operations of United, has now drawn up a list of possible replacements for Amorim.

As per the report, the United board is a big fan of Glasner and that the Austrian would be happy to join the Old Trafford club.
Bournemouth coach Iraola, who hails from Spain, is also another prominent option, having impressed at the club with his attacking brand of football.
The report has made another massive revelation: that INEOS is also interested in Gareth Southgate, but they are not sure how United fans would react to hiring the former England coach.
Amorim had hinted after a defeat to Grimsby that he may leave the club. However, some feel his passionate post-match quotes might be referring to some players.
