An Iranian lawmaker has reportedly warned that passage of oil tankers owned by or linked with the US and Israel through Hormuz will be prohibited “forever”. The new warning comes as US President Donald Trump accused Iran of doing a “very poor job” of allowing oil through the Strait of Hormuz and of breaching the terms of their truce agreement. In a barrage of social media posts on April 9, Trump also warned Tehran against imposing a toll for ships passing through the crucial waterway. “Iran is doing a very poor job, dishonourable some would say, of allowing oil to go through the Strait of Hormuz,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform. “That is not the agreement we have”, the US president added, referring to the two-week temporary ceasefire between Washington and Tehran. n18oc_crux | n18oc_world 0:00 INTRODUCTION2:42 KHAMENEI VOWS ‘NEW PHASE’ IN HORMUZ6:16 NATO READY FOR TRUMP’S HORMUZ MISSION?
