India’s Ambassador to the United States, Amb Vinay Mohan Kwatra, held a “productive conversation” with Congressman Ryan Zinke, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s bipartisan Foreign Arms Sales Task Force, on strengthening bilateral ties.
In a post on X, the Ambassador said the discussions touched upon recent trade developments, India’s expanding hydrocarbon trade partnership with the US, and shared priorities in addressing global security challenges.

“Had a productive conversation on India-US bilateral ties with @RepRyanZinke, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s bipartisan Foreign Arms Sales Task Force. We discussed issues relating to bilateral trade developments, India’s growing hydrocarbon trade partnership with the US, and mutual interests in global security challenges,” Kwatra wrote on X.
The envoy also expressed gratitude to Congressman Zinke for his consistent support towards deepening the India-US strategic partnership.
