A member of the Goldy Brar gang, which has claimed responsibility for the firing incident outside Disha Patani’s house, has shared a social media post condoling the encounter death of two accused in the case.

Thursday’s Facebook post by Rohit Godara comes a day after the two men— Ravindra and Arun—were killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) in Ghaziabad.

Godara said the two men were “martyrs”, saying their death was a “huge loss”.

“You shout about ‘Sanatan’ from one side of your mouth, and then the people who fight for Sanatan are killed. This is not fair,” he said in his post in Hindi.

“Whoever is involved in this, whether they are rich or powerful, they will not be forgiven, no matter how long it takes,” he added.

The post comes amid the ongoing probe into the firing incident outside Patani’s residence. The Goldy Brar gang has claimed responsibility for the incident.

Earlier, a member of the gang, Virendra Charan, had said in a Facebook post that the actor had hurt religious sentiments.

“Next time, if she or anyone else shows any disrespect towards our religion, we will not let them leave alive from their house,” Charan said.

“This message is not only for her but also for all the film artists and people associated with her. If anyone does any such disrespectful act related to our religion and saints in the future, then be ready to face the consequences. We are ready to go to any extent to protect our religion. For us, religion and the whole society are always one, and protecting them is our first duty,” Charan’s post added.

What’s The Case?

On September 12, gunshots were fired outside Disha Patani’s ancestral home in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly by two bike-borne men. The accused, identified as Ravinda alias Kullu and Arun, were killed following an encounter on September 17.
