Pakistani National Arrested From India-Pak Border In Jammu; Probe Underway

It marks the second such intrusion that took place in Jammu’s Indo-Pakistan border within a month.

The Border Security Force (BSF) arrested one Pakistani intruder in the Nawa Pind area of Gharana in RS Pura sector of Jammu. The man was arrested on the Indo-Pakistani border and is now being questioned by multiple agencies.

The incident took place on Thursday morning.

The man was arrested after the BSF personnel spotted a person trying to sneak into this side from across the border. The officials then overpowered him and apprehended him right after he entered Indian territory.

According to the officials, they did not find any incriminating material from the arrested person. He is currently being questioned by joint teams of various security agencies.

The incident marks the second such case within a month, followed by a similar incident on September 8 when another Pakistani intruder was arrested from the Octroi area in RS Pura sector.
