Investigators revealed that the accused lured the woman into a relationship, forced her to convert to Islam, and changed her name before conducting a nikah using forged documents. Notably, the woman was still legally married to her husband and had not been divorced.
According to the report, Raja Mian’s family played an active role in the crime. His mother allegedly posed as the woman’s aunt, while his brother impersonated her sibling to facilitate the marriage. A local cleric also reportedly prepared a forged nikahnama (marriage contract).
