At least six people died as heavy rain lashed Kolkata since late last night, causing heavy waterlogging on streets and outside homes in various localities on Tuesday. According to the Kolkata Police, one of the deceased was identified as 60-year-old Jitendra Singh, who got electrocuted at Hossain Shah Road at nearly 5.15 am today.
