Heavy Rain Lashes Noida, Traffic Movement Affected

Noida is witnessing intense rain in several areas, disrupting traffic. IMD, on Tuesday, forecasted rain and storms in Delhi, NCR, Kaithal, Panipat, and Muzaffarnagar.

Noida on Tuesday afternoon witnessed intense rainfall. affecting traffic movement. The India Meteorological Department predicted rainfall across several areas of NCR.

Meanwhile, IMD also predicted rain and thunderstorms in Delhi on Tuesday.

Rain Today In Delhi NCR

The latest prediction by IMD reads, “Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by light thunderstorm and lightning is very likely to occur at many places of Delhi & NCR , Kaithal, Narwana, Rajaund, Assandh, Safidon, Barwala, Jind, Panipat, Gohana (Haryana) Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat, Khekra.”

“Light rainfall is very likely to occur at Kurukshetra, Karnal, Gannaur, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda, Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Narnaul (Haryana) Deoband, Khatauli, Baraut, Khurja, Hathras, Sadabad (U.P.) Jhunjunu, Nagar, Laxmangarh, Rajgarh (Rajasthan),” it added.

The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius, 0.2 notch below normal for this time of the year. The relative humidity hovered around 97 per cent at 8.30 am, the weather department noted.

The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 35 degrees Celsius, it added.
