At least four people have been killed and more than two dozen others sustained injuries after a bus overturned in the Kakori area of Lucknow on Thursday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene to assist the victims, and the injured have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

Earlier, a fatal accident occurred on the Samruddhi Highway near Shahapur taluka in Maharashtra late Monday night, claiming the lives of a truck driver and his cleaner.

According to preliminary reports, one truck was parked on the roadside when another truck, travelling from Nagpur towards Mumbai, rammed into it.

Police said the moving truck’s driver appeared to have dozed off, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into the stationary truck.

The impact was devastating, as an iron angle from the moving truck penetrated the cabin, instantly killing both the driver and the cleaner.
