A 34-year-old woman died by suicide in the North East District of Delhi on Wednesday over a suspected case of dowry demand. The body of the victim was found hanging at her in-laws’ house.

The incident came to light at around 9:30 am on Wednesday.

The Delhi Police have registered a case and are conducting further investigations.

The woman got married in 2023 and is survived by a young daughter.
