According to the police, the incident took place at Mad Club and Kitchen in Kondapur five days ago. A group of customers got into an argument with the manager after he asked them to pay the bill, police told NDTV.

The police said as the argument escalated, some of the customers flew into a rage and attacked the bouncers. Three bouncers and four customers suffered serious injuries and all are undergoing treatment at a hospital, they said.

They said both sides started hurling abusive words at each other and, within minutes, some of them were throwing punches while others brought in sticks and rods. A case was registered at the Madhapur police station in Cyberabad, based on a complaint from the pub manager.

Police further said they are investigating the matter based on CCTV footage and witness accounts. Efforts are on to identify and nab individuals involved in the fight, they added.
