A former employee of a private company in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar district, Uttar Pradesh, has alleged that members of the company’s Human Resources (HR) team assaulted him when he questioned his service allowance, police said on Tuesday. The incident allegedly occurred at the company’s office on September 19.
The victim shared his ordeal in a detailed post on the social media platform Reddit, sparking a debate about workplace ethics and employee rights.

“The HR team fired me without any reason, denied me my work allowance, and assaulted me in the office. I have filed a police complaint. Now I need advice on what next steps to take,” he wrote.
He claimed that when he approached the HR team to discuss his service allowance, he was told, “We won’t respond. You’re fired. You can complain wherever you want.”
Tries To Speak Up Again, Gets Brutally Beaten
The former employee alleged that when he tried to talk again, this time recording the conversation on his mobile phone, a member of the HR team shouted, “Take his phone!” After this, he was forcibly stopped.
He said in the post, “My right hand was twisted, I was in severe pain, and to be honest, I felt extremely humiliated.”
The victim said that the police were later called and he was taken to the Sector 168 police post, where he filed a written complaint with video evidence.
Young Employee Takes To Social Media
The post also said, “The police asked the HR team to come to the police station, but they refused. Now I am in limbo – neither did I receive my termination allowance, nor a formal response, and on top of that, I was beaten.”
The officer in-charge of the Sector 168 police post in the Expressway police station area confirmed that the complaint was received and the allegations are being investigated.
Meanwhile, many social media users have commented on the matter. Some advised the former employee to make the video public, while others suggested taking legal action.
