As Rao felt uneasy, he handed over the vehicle to the co-driver, thinking to take rest till would reach hospital. Tragically, as his health deteriorated, he fainted and died in the moving bus even before reaching the hospital.

The two men had attempted to locate medical assistance, initially stopping at a nearby pharmacy but it was closed.

With no immediate help available, the co-driver continued toward the nearest hospital.

The report mentioned, Rao who was seated beside the driver in a cross-legged position, suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed onto the co-driver.

A woman passenger seated nearby appeared stunned and did not immediately react. However, within moments, other passengers entered the driver’s area and helped in moving Rao. He was rushed to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The report suggest that doctors confirmed that the driver had suffered a silent heart attack, a condition where symptoms are minimal or unnoticeable until it becomes fatal.

Further, his family, upon learning about the tragedy, refused an official investigation or post-mortem.
