New Delhi: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) reported total sales of 33,880 units in January 2026, marking a 15 per cent year-on-year increase compared with 29,371 units in the same month last year.

Domestic sales stood at 30,630 units, up 17 per cent from 26,178 units in January 2025, while exports rose marginally to 3,250 units from 3,193 units, reflecting a growth of 2 per cent.

The company said the performance was supported by sustained demand across key models in its portfolio. January also saw the launch of the all-electric Urban Cruiser Ebella, signalling Toyota’s continued focus on expanding its electric vehicle offerings in India.

Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said the company began 2026 on a positive note, driven by portfolio momentum and customer demand. He added that the launch of the new electric model marked an important step in strengthening Toyota’s future mobility strategy in India.
