According to the company’s statement, electric vehicle (EV) volumes, including domestic and international sales, reached 8,385 units, reflecting a 57 per cent year-on-year increase from 5,343 units sold in February last year.

The company’s passenger vehicle portfolio includes a mix of internal combustion engine and electric models across hatchbacks and SUVs, with EV sales driven by products under its electric mobility arm, Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited.

Tata Motors PV has been expanding its EV line-up as part of its strategy to accelerate electrification in the Indian passenger vehicle market. The company continues to focus on zero-emission mobility solutions supported by connected technologies and advanced vehicle platforms.

In October 2025, Tata Motors split into two entities, with Tata Motors representing the company’s commercial vehicle operations while Tata Motors PV housing the passenger vehicle business, which also includes EVs and the luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).
