Renault India on Tuesday commenced nationwide customer deliveries of the new Renault Duster, marking the rollout of the latest version of its mid-size SUV.

The first customer delivery took place in Chennai, where senior company executives handed the vehicle over to a buyer. The first delivery also coincides with the brand’s inauguration of a new ‘R’ store on Mount Road in Chennai.

The new ‘R’ store in Chennai is a 1S facility spread over 4,500 sq ft, including a 3,000 sq ft display and customer interaction area. It is designed to showcase up to five vehicles and features a dedicated delivery bay for an enhanced customer experience.

Renault India is expanding its retail footprint with the inauguration of a new ‘R’ store in Chennai, the second such outlet in the city, bringing the total number of these urban-format stores to 11 across the country.

The company plans to aggressively scale up this format, targeting 70 outlets nationwide this year, in addition to its existing network of over 350 sales touchpoints.

Renault India is reinforcing its value proposition through customer-centric initiatives such as the Renault Forever program, which offers coverage of up to 7 years or 150,000 km.

The commencement of deliveries comes as Renault India recorded 77 per cent growth in sales in March 2026, driven by strong momentum from models such as the new Kiger and Triber, as well as the introduction of the new Duster.
