Ravi Sharma joins Toyota Kirloskar Motor India as General Manager – PR & Communications

Ravi Sharma has joined Toyota Kirloskar Motor India as General Manager – PR & Communications. Until the end of August, he served as Group Head – Branding & Communications at Minda Corporation Ltd.

Prior to Minda Corporation, Ravi spent 12 years at Hyundai Motor India as Head of Communications and Social Marketing, where he successfully spearheaded the launch of several iconic models, including CRETA, i20, Grand i10, Eon, Verna, Alcazar, Elantra, KONA Electric, and the globally acclaimed IONIQ 7 – World Car of the Year. Earlier in his career, he contributed to Honda Cars India, playing a key role in the launches of models like the Honda City, Jazz, and Civic Hybrid.

A digital marketing specialist and a natural storyteller, Ravi is known for his unique and innovative ideas that create a positive impact on both brand and business. Over the years, he has conceptualised and executed various industry-first, award-winning campaigns that became trendsetters, redefining how automotive brands connect with customers and setting new benchmarks in the industry.

With over 22 years of rich experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and purpose-driven brand activations, Ravi has led numerous high-impact automotive brand campaigns across the industry.

At Toyota Kirloskar Motor India, he will lead the PR & Communications mandate, focused on further strengthening Toyota’s brand presence in India with impactful storytelling, innovative engagement, and purpose-led initiatives that resonate with customers and communities alike.
