Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL) on Friday reported a consolidated net profit of ₹3,349 crore for the July–September quarter of FY26, up 8 per cent from ₹3,102 crore in the same period last year, driven by strong export performance and record revenue.

Domestic wholesales fell 5.1 per cent to 4,40,387 units, as buyers postponed purchases ahead of the new GST rate cuts announced in late September. Exports, however, surged 42.2 per cent to 1,10,487 units, the highest-ever in a single quarter.

Total revenue from operations rose 13 per cent year-on-year (YoY) to ₹42,344 crore from ₹37,449 crore in Q2 FY25, marking the company’s highest-ever quarterly sales. Sequentially, revenue inched up 1 per cent from ₹39,688 crore in the previous quarter.

H1 FY26

The company’s overall sales volume grew 1.7 per cent YoY to 5,50,874 units, as robust exports compensated for softer domestic demand.

For the first half of FY26 (April–September), Maruti Suzuki posted its highest-ever half-yearly revenue of ₹80,949 crore, up 10.5 per cent from ₹73,228 crore in the same period last year. Net profit for H1 rose 4.3 per cent to ₹7,141 crore from ₹6,862 crore a year ago.

The company sold 10,78,735 vehicles in the first half, including 8,71,276 domestic units and 2,07,459 exports, with exports registering a 39.9 per cent YoY rise.
