XEV 9SMahindra has introduced the XEV 9S, an electric seven-seater SUV built on the INGLO platform and equipped with the MAIA system.
Prices start at ₹19.95 lakh, with six variants on offer. The fully loaded Pack Three Above with a 79 kWh battery is priced at ₹29.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings open on 14 January 2026 and customer deliveries start on 23 January 2026.
Features and technical specifications
The XEV 9S includes a 70 kWh battery offering 180 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a real-world driving range of 500 km, an LFP battery with a lifetime warranty and various configurations offering 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh packs.
The SUV provides cabin space of 4,076 litres across the first and second rows, up to 527 litres of boot space and a 150-litre frunk.
Equipment available across the lineup includes adaptive suspension, brake-by-wire, a 205 mm ground clearance (222 mm battery clearance), multiple drive modes, L2+ ADAS with radar and vision camera options, driver monitoring, and Secure360 Pro live-view and recording.
XEV 9S interiorComfort features include ventilated seats (in higher variants), sliding and reclining second-row seats, wireless charging, laminated glass, and three 31.24-cm screens with 5G connectivity. The top variant also offers AutoPark Assist, AR HUD (VisionX), and expanded safety and driver-assist functions.

Pratap Bose, Chief Design & Creative Officer – Auto & Farm Sectors, said the design focus was on creating a sense of space and calm while reflecting Mahindra’s design direction.
The model supports 40 per cent depreciation benefits for business owners, low running costs, and minimal road tax. Important upcoming dates include preference selection from 14 December 2025 and test drives beginning 5 January 2026.
